PHILANTHROPY
This fall our chapter partnered with ECU Student Engagement, ECU Athletics, UNCC Student Engagement, and UNCC Athletics to run a football from 240 miles from UNC Charlotte to ECU. This event was created to raise money for the Maxwell For Life Foundation and to bring awareness to mental health. The Maxwell For Life Foundation honors our founding father Max Tyeryar who unfortunately passed away a year and a half ago. Our brothers had a great time participating in the event. At the UNCC vs ECU Homecoming game our brothers got to hand a signed ball to Max’s dad Wes Tyeryar so that he would be able to remember the event for years to come. Our brotherhood looks forward to continuing this run, making it into a yearly tradition.
